"Building near good restaurants is our way of making everyone happy."
SECAUCUS, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / December 17, 2021 / National Realty Investment Advisors (NRIA), a New Jersey-based residential real estate developer, announces that it chose the location of its newest development, The Station, in West New York, New Jersey, in part because of the New York bedroom community's burgeoning restaurant scene.
"In recent years, West New York has quietly cultivated one of the best restaurant scenes in all of New Jersey," says Anthony Gramuglia, communications director for NRIA. "And we understand that when renters and buyers are looking for a place to live today, the availability of well-crafted meal options nearby is a big selling point."
Once aptly nicknamed "Havana on the Hudson" for its large Cuban community, West New York's bustling streets boast scores of authentic Cuban and Latin American restaurants. These popular eateries range from delicious down-home neighborhood fare like La Pola on Palisades Avenue to Son Cubano at Riverwalk Place, a high-end establishment helmed by a celebrity chef.
"Seeking out the local eateries, diners, and steak houses is now a natural part of the home-hunting process," Gramuglia says. "And a neighborhood with an abundance of popular restaurants and cafes makes for a good investment."
In fact NJ.com recently rated West New York as one of New Jersey's great food towns.
Glenn La Mattina, NRIA's chief operating officer, says that NRIA has prioritized building its residential developments in areas with walkable access to great restaurants. NRIA's The Station, a 97-unit, ten-story luxury apartment project, is under construction at 4901 Bergenline Avenue in West New York, and is within walking distance to scores of diverse dining options.
According to La Mattina, The Station is being built right across from the Bergenline Station, a New Jersey transit hub along the Hudson-Bergen light rail system. "The complex's centralized location, close to public transport, shops, restaurants, and the New York City Harbor, is a big selling point to buyers," he says.
"Folks want good food," NRIA's Gramuglia says. "And restaurants want new customers. Building near good restaurants is our way of making everyone happy."
