Hospice of Westchester Hosts Successful "In Celebration" Gala Cocktail Reception

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY / ACCESSWIRE / October 3, 2022 / Hospice of Westchester (HOW) recently hosted its annual "In Celebration" Gala Cocktail Reception on Thursday, September 22, at the Westchester Country Club in Rye. The event celebrated the organization's 30 ^th anniversary and honored HOW's Staff and Volunteers, as well as its Patients and Their Families. The evening also featured a Celebration of Life for longtime supporter Anna L. Shereff and her son, Jesse M. Shereff.

"After a two year break due to the pandemic, we were thrilled to once again gather in person with so many of our friends and supporters. I can't think of a better way to celebrate the occasion than by honoring those most important to our organization," said Mary K. Spengler, MS, LHNA, chief executive officer, HOW. "Our staff and volunteers, no matter their role, are incredible people, and our organization is the personification of their goodness."

"In Celebration" featured live entertainment and culinary delights. The funds raised from the event will benefit The Anna & Louis H. Shereff Caregiver, Complementary Care and Bereavement Programs. Due to the generosity of Rochelle Shereff, who has matched all monies raised from "In Celebration", these programs are offered to HOW patients at no cost to them.
