Nomi Health Launches Testing Sites in Texas as COVID-19 Cases Surge Across the State

The community testing sites ensure Texans continue to have access to critical COVID-19 testing as the Delta variant spreads

Nomi Health, the direct healthcare company coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts across the country, today announced it has launched a series of community testing sites across Texas. A part of this statewide effort, Nomi Health aims to make COVID-19 testing more accessible and accommodating as demand increases and the Delta variant takes hold.

“As we face another pivotal moment in the pandemic, Texans need access to reliable, quality testing,” said Harold DelasAlas, MD, PharmD, Medical Director, Nomi Health. “Drawing best practices from our work in support of local leaders, these sites provide a seamless patient experience as people seek out peace of mind as they get back to school, back to work and back to life as we knew it. Because of that, Nomi’s goal is to turn no eligible person seeking a test away.”

As part of this new initiative, Nomi Health aims to continue to expand testing efforts across rural, suburban, and hard-to-reach areas over the weeks and months to come, providing Texans with easy access to testing clinics in their communities.

More sites to come! Once open and active, hours of operation are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The drive-through sites offer both PCR and antigen tests with a 24–48-hour turnaround for PCR tests and 1-hour turnaround for the antigen tests. The samples are processed in a CLIA-certified laboratory using FDA-authorized test kits.

Individuals in need of a test are asked to bring an insurance card if they have one. If they do not have insurance, they will not be turned away. Appointments are not required but you can pre-register for each site.
