Dubai-based Buggyra Organisation has announced Port Vila as its new global operational and logistic headquarters, expanding operations to the Pacific nation and launching a high-performance training center for international and Ni-Vanuatu athletes.

Buggyra Organisation today announced the opening of its global operational and logistics headquarters in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The announcement was made at a press conference attended by the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, the Honorable Jotham Napat, as well as several high-ranking government officials and members of Vanuatu's business community. The Dubai-based racing team, which has family roots in Vanuatu, will also establish the '29 Performance' Holistic Training Center for Professional Athletes on the Pacific Island, in alignment with the humanistic mission of Aliyyah Koloc’s Foundation29, to empower Ni-Vanuatu youth and support sustainable development initiatives.

“The Government of Vanuatu warmly welcomes Buggyra’s presence and partnership,” said the Honorable Jotham Napat. “We are confident that this collaboration will bring lasting benefits in sport, education, innovation, and sustainability. Let this be the beginning of a long and meaningful alliance between Buggyra, Foundation29, and the People of Vanuatu. Together, we will drive forward for our youth, for our islands, and for a sustainable Pacific future.”

Strategically placed global headquarters

The establishment of Buggyra's global operational headquarters in Port Vila shows the Organisation's commitment to developing operations in the Pacific region. “The opening of our global operations and logistic headquarters in Port Vila fulfills a long-held vision,” said  Te Moli Venaos Goiset Thi Tam, President of Buggyra Pacific, at today’s press conference. “Vanuatu has personal significance to my family, and we want to contribute to its future. Through our headquarters and training center, we aim to support youth development, education, and environmental protection in partnership with Vanuatu.”

Motorsport enthusiasm in Vanuatu is strengthened by the nation’s remarkable multilingual capacity, providing a promising edge in global collaboration and communication. Positioned strategically in the Pacific, Vanuatu’s time zone serves as a natural advantage, allowing operations to stay one day ahead of competitors. By the time the Middle East and Europe begin their working day, Buggyra’s teams in Port Vila have already advanced their projects, ensuring continuous efficiency and 24-hour productivity across continents.

Elite performance center for professional athletes

Alongside the headquarters, Buggyra will open the '29 Performance - Holistic Training Center for Professional Athletes, a facility designed to promote physical excellence, mental health, nutrition, and performance leadership, reinforcing Vanuatu’s objectives for youth empowerment and sports development.

“We have carefully selected the location for the training center,” said Te Moli Venaos. “The facility will be situated in the serene natural setting of Eruiti Lagoon, surrounded by mangrove forests and a botanical garden. This environment will provide an inspiring balance between high-performance training and the tranquility of nature.”

The ’29 Performance Center’ is envisioned as a one-of-a-kind facility, designed to offer professional athletes a retreat from the year-long routine of conventional training. Nestled within Vanuatu’s untouched natural surroundings, it will combine cutting-edge diagnostics and rehabilitation technology with a holistic approach to athletic performance and recovery, creating an ideal environment for both physical and mental excellence.

Sustainable mobility and road safety initiatives

Buggyra's operations in Vanuatu will introduce sustainable mobility programs, as the team already uses R-XTL biodiesel in its global fleet and is developing synthetic petrol as an alternative energy solution for competitive motorsport. These initiatives reflect shared commitments with Vanuatu to climate resilience and environmental progress.

The racing team also plans to conduct educational and outreach programs to increase public awareness on road safety and responsible driving across Vanuatu's islands.

Cultural and environmental programs

Aliyyah Koloc, the 21-year-old racing driver and philanthropist, has expanded her mission beyond the world of motorsport to include cultural preservation and environmental conservation. Through her initiative, Foundation29, Aliyyah Koloc is leading projects in Vanuatu that aim to safeguard Melanesian art and support the protection of Pacific mangrove ecosystems, which are critical natural habitats that provide coastal protection and preserve biodiversity.

“Having spent time in Vanuatu earlier this year, I have witnessed first-hand the profound impact that climate change is having on the local environment,” said Aliyyah Koloc, founder of Foundation29. “It was only natural that the first project of my Foundation focuses on preserving the beauty and resilience of Vanuatu’s landscapes.”

Vanuatu enters global motorsport stage

During today’s press conference, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, the Honorable Jotham Napat, presented Aliyyah Koloc with the Vanuatu flag. She will carry this flag at the 2026 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia, marking Vanuatu’s presence at one of motorsport’s most visible events. “Through my father, I have roots in this beautiful country, and to carry its flag at an international event is such an honor. It will also give me the opportunity to draw attention to Vanuatu and its needs. Through Foundation29, we are supporting the country’s mangrove ecosystem, and I hope that this will play a small part in helping protect Vanuatu’s biodiversity and coasts.”

The Honorable Jotham Napat concluded: “This symbolic act places our nation among the global motorsport community, showcasing Vanuatu’s courage, ambition, and unity on the world stage. The Pacific has a voice, and Vanuatu stands tall among nations. This is an important message, one that Buggyra will help us carry into the world.”
