Burka Avenger is one of the award-winning series in Pakistan. The production house behind the popular TV show, Unicorn Black has announced to offer free online courses to students across Pakistan. The program will cover Unreal Engine in detail with learning paths of 3D Animation and Storytelling. The program, Peace Animation Training, is envisioned to bring skill-based expertise to 100 students across the country. The course offers two programs.
- Diploma: 3D Animation and Storytelling
- Unreal Certified Training Program: Unreal Engine and Storytelling.
The opportunity to avail these courses for free is open to everyone across the country. Students can kickstart their careers by getting trained in these in-demand skills. The course’s prerequisite is to have basic knowledge of Maya/Unreal Engine Software.
Speaking about the training courses at the launch event in Islamabad, director/producer, music icon, and CEO of Unicorn Black, Haroon said: “Over the past few years, our organization has taught and mentored dozens of trainees who have gone on to obtain lucrative jobs in the animation industry across Pakistan, UAE, Malaysia, USA, and other countries. There is an incredible amount of potential in the animation industry and our goal is to help it flourish in Pakistan.”
Unicorn Balck has recently collaborated with Epic Games, the creators of Unreal Engine, Reality Forge, and Muflehun to offer these courses. The training program was introduced recently in Islamabad with notable personalities from all walks of life attending the event. Reality Forge is the first Pakistan’s only authorized Unreal Engine training center. Mullen is a US security tech firm and resource center.
The CEO of Unicorn Black, Haroon aims to motivate Gen Z and take market-demanding career paths, like gaming and animations instead of traditional jobs.
He said, “Animation and gaming are two of the most in-demand professions around the world. Ex-employees and trainees of Unicorn Black are employed in reputable companies worldwide. One former employee is working on a game based on the movie, Avatar 2, in Sweden. Another is working as an animator in Hollywood. Animation and game development can also be done from home as there are ample opportunities in the form of freelancing and outsourcing, which makes the entire learning experience fun and enjoyable.”
