Sherwood explained the reason she started The Tapestry Network was, “Out of a personal need to be surrounded by like-minded women, women that no longer wanted to live in separate-compartmentalized lives.  I started The Tapestry Network because I couldn't find anything to meet my own needs.  The Tapestry Network is a unique community of businesswomen that come together because they want to grow into God's idea of a successful woman.  Our success is measured by the lives we touch, the love, support and encouragement we offer.  It is about being in service to each other it is about being in service to our community.  It is about giving permission to women so they can be all God has called them to be without apology.”

The grant will help promote the mission and the vision of The Tapestry Network whose goal is to promote a national community that weaves together the unique gifts and talents of our members with love, support and encouragement to create an unstoppable sisterhood of like-minded business women.
