In trading on Wednesday, the iShares US Basic Materials ETF (IYM) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.4% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Alpha Natural Resources (ANR), up about 1.6% and shares of PolyOne (POL), up about 1% on the day.
