(NASDAQ:GSIC), a leading provider of e-commerce solutions, today announced that it has signed a multiyear agreement with a subsidiary of VF Corporation (NYSE:VFC) for the popular Nautica(R) and Kipling(R) apparel brands. GSI will provide both the Nautica(R) and Kipling(R) brands with technology, customer care, order processing and fulfillment services.
The Nautica(R) brand is a leading global lifestyle apparel brand that sells through U.S. retailers, in-store shops, direct retail and outlet stores. When the Web store launches with GSI in 2008, the Nautica(R) brand will offer apparel and accessories for men, women and children.
The Kipling(R) brand is available in the U.S. market through major department store chains, top luggage retailers and various outlets. When the Web store launches with GSI in 2008, the Kipling(R) brand will offer handbags, backpacks, luggage and accessories.
