Green City Market Hosts "Garage Sale" Features Treasures from Top Chefs and Restaurant Kitchens November 14

Just in time for the Holidays, Green City Market's Garage Sale will feature culinary must-haves from some of the top chefs in Chicago as well as other goodies from Green City Market devotees.

CHICAGO, IL, October 17, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Upon first hearing the words "garage sale" thoughts of used toddler toys and broken workout equipment may float into your mind. However, the Green City Market Culinary Garage Sale at NAHA (500 North Clark St., Chicago, IL; 60654), Saturday, Nov. 14, is unlike any other garage sale around. This garage sale features culinary must-haves from some of the top chefs in Chicago as well as other goodies from Green City Market devotees.

The Green City Market Culinary Garage Sale is more of a "treasure sale" and will feature items such as:
- Chef coats from events
- China, glassware, silver
- Silverware, serving pieces
- Chipped China
- Cookbooks
- Bakeware
- Cutting Boards
- Cutting Utensils
- Cookware
- Serviceware
- Posters/menus/framed photos of food
- Anything Culinary Related

The Garage Sale runs from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday Nov 14. Tickets are available to purchase online and are $10 for General Admission and $50 for VIP. VIP ticket holders receive exclusive early access to the event and are able to shop the treasures before everyone else in the VIP Hour from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with a $10 donation at the door. The garage sale is hosted at NAHA (500 North Clark St., Chicago, IL; 60654; 312-321-6242) by Chef Carrie Nahabedian. All proceeds from the event benefit Green City Market's Educational Programming.

Donations to the garage sale are currently being accepted. For item pick-up service, please call the Green City Market office (773)-880-1266 or send an email to admin@greencitymarket.org. To drop off your culinary related donations please deliver them to NAHA and give a one-day notice.
