Gooseneck Vineyards is Pleased to Announce the Release of Three New Wines, Just in Time for the Holidays: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon
WICKFORD, R.I. - Nov. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Gooseneck Vineyards is pleased to announce the release of three new Gooseneck Vineyards varietals: chardonnay, pinot noir, and cabernet sauvignon. True to their mission, the team traveled the world to find all the elements essential to create each wine with superior quality and excellent value that followers have come to expect from Gooseneck Vineyards.

Inspired by the origins of California wines, whose vines were first planted by the Spanish colonists, Gooseneck Vineyards team worked with generational farmers in the Old World to create chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon.

With several theories placing the origins of the chardonnay grape in Champagne and Navarra in 13th century, Gooseneck Vineyards team took advantage of the immense quality of the chardonnay grape grown in Navarra. The farmers’ sense of pride in their work, history, and terroir, are the reasons why chardonnays from Navarra have consistently won top awards across the globe. Gooseneck Vineyards Chardonnay captures and exemplifies these reasons in the bottle.

Gooseneck Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon was created in collaboration with a winemaker who recently won a gold medal for his work as the most important red wine producer in Valencia. The wine was perfected at the winery, whose name has been mentioned in 15th century books found in the library of the Medici family in Florence. The full-bodied and graceful Gooseneck Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of the team’s unrelenting work and is a perfect addition to any tabletop.

Gooseneck Vineyards Pinot Noir is sourced from Oregon’s newest American Viticulture Area (AVA), Elkton, which is within the Umpqua Valley, next to the better-known Willamette Valley. The geography of the region allows for very strong marine influence with daily sea breezes and fog penetrating into the valley. This gives Elkton its unique climate: cool, maritime, and temperate, ideal for the fragile pinot noir grape. Created in collaboration with a husband and wife team, Michael and Vonnie Landt, the Gooseneck Vineyards Pinot Noir expresses the beauty of the Oregon terroir, while satisfying the requirements of sophistication and elegance of the toughest critics. It is an ideal enhancement to any experience with family and friends.

All Gooseneck Vineyards wines are available for purchase online and across retail locations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. For more information and details, please visit our website at www.gooseneckvineyards.com.
