Portland, Ore. – April 23, 2018 – Tribe Media House and Kimera Systems (Kimera) have teamed up to create a first-of-its-kind documentary series that follows Kimera as they set up their Initial Coin Offering (ICO) as well as showcasing the technology. It premiered three weeks ago with Episode 0, and the most recent episode – Nigel – came out on Tuesday, April 17th.
Kimera Systems is an artificial general intelligence (AGI) company having created the world’s first AGI in 2012. They recently partnered with the Rochester Institute of Technology to share this creation with students and staff. The AGI, known as “Nigel,” was named after Nigel Deighton, the co-creator of the technology, who passed away in 2013. Episode 6 of the documentary talks about the vision that Deighton and Mounir Shita, founder and CEO of Kimera, had for the future and how that is being incorporated into the AGI.
In order to fund this project and further develop Nigel, Kimera Systems decided to launch an ICO. With the high demand of ICO, Kimera sought the best of the best in the ICO industry to market it. Kimera asked Tribe Media House to pitch an idea of how to promote their company and their ICO.
Tribe immediately came back with the idea of a documentary series. The idea was to showcase the company with an in-depth series of videos, bringing in transparency to the project.
