Brigham, South Shore Health announce plans to build medical center in Quincy

A major medical building, to be operated jointly by South Shore Health System and Brigham Health, is expected to be the jewel in a $1.6 billion downtown redevelopment that has been ongoing since 2011, replacing the demolished Ross Parking Garage with a 200,000-square-foot medical building and representing the first major commercial/office development as part of the downtown plan.
