(Charlotte, NC, Sept. 4, 2020) — Financial advisor Ryan Schachtner announced his upcoming book that will help establish foundation for financial excellence for collegiate athletes.

Schachtner is the president and founder of Carolina Asset Management which works to build financial stability and security to provide financial independence and peace of mind.

Growing up engaging in sports, Schachtner observed that athletes have the advantage in skills and opportunity but lack the knowledge on establishing their financial stability.

He said his book will be of help to create readers’ skills on credit, budgeting, taxes, protecting identity, protecting income, and saving properly.

These skills, he said, are often overlooked and “learned too late which can have a short and long term financially devastating effect.”

“I want to give them the knowledge and skills they need to have financial success throughout their life,” Schachtner said.

He started his career in the finance industry as an intern at Nothwestern Mutual, an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee.

Schachtner has attended various educational institutions including Catholic Memorial High School, Waukesha South High School, and Cardinal Stritch University.

“I decided to establish an independent planning firm to better serve clients and have grown it to over 20 advisors in four states,” he added, referring to Carolina Asset Management which he founded in 2014.

Schachtner’s company strives to educate its clients on all of the solutions available to them while working together to identify what strategies and products fit best for their family or business.

It uses a distinct macro-economic process approach which guides clients towards the understanding of financial concepts and dynamics.

This non-traditional approach forms the foundation for a personal road map — a plan that helps balance growth potential with the reduction of risk for their future.

As a financial advisor, Schachtner said he lives “to educate individuals on how to establish good foundational financial habits that allows them to live without financial stress and allows them to fully experience their goals and dreams.”

Aside from his success in running Carolina Asset Management, www.camplanning.com, Schachtner is also a successful family man.

He is married for 11 years and have two children aged 9 and 7. Schachtner and his wife are actively involved in the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, a family support organization aimed to enable individuals with Down syndrome (Ds) to reach their full potential and become respected members of their community.

In his down time, Schachtner enjoys spending time with his family, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Carolina Panther football, and visiting the many beautiful Carolina beaches.
