What Alabama's $300M unemployment allocation means for employers

Gov. Kay Ivey said on Thursday that $300 million of the $1.9 billion in CARES Act funds that were allocated to Alabama will be transferred to the state’s Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund to mitigate an increase in unemployment insurance tax rates for employers.
