Muslim Groups Launch Live Series of Election Coverage

The Muslim Caucus Education Collective, the Center for Global Muslim Life, and Jetpac have partnered to launch a Facebook Live Forum Series featuring American Muslim experts on public policy and politics. The live series kicks off October 30 at 8 pm Eastern with a forum on the Muslim community's response to poverty and the pandemic, and ends on November 3 with a two-hour live show covering Election Night results, getting live reactions from activists, political staff, and elected officials on the ground in battleground states across the country.

"The fact remains that no matter who wins in November, both parties have a weak grasp on both the diversity within the U.S. Muslim constituency and the issues that matter to most American Muslims. It's time for American Muslims to frame our issues, our narratives, and our platform," the groups said in a joint statement.
