Cornhole Boards For Sale At Backyard Games USA

Joliet, Illinois-based Backyard Games USA is pleased to announce that they are selling cornhole boards. The company offers custom cornhole boards and bags (that have been handmade in the United States) for those who prefer to have active entertainment in their backyards. This may be especially vital in current times, given that many homeowners will be looking to make the most of their outdoor spaces.

A representative for Backyard Games USA says, “Cornhole is a fun game for the whole family, and it really gets you jumping and moving and just very active. It’s an excellent way to spend time outside, and whether it’s your first time playing cornhole or if you’ve played a lot of it before, our cornhole boards and bags provide the best way to experience the game. All of our boards are made in the USA, carefully crafted by experts.”

Backyard Games USA’s cornhole boards are all tournament-grade and made to the American Cornhole Association’s specifications. The custom cornhole board sets are manufactured using only high quality materials, before being imprinted with hi-resolution custom graphics. Each set of boards measures 24″ x 48″ regulation size and comes with a complete set of tournament grade cornhole bags.

Cornhole — sometimes also known as bags, sack toss, or bean bag — is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing 16 ounce bags of corn kernels at a raised platform (cornhole board), which has a hole in the far end. On their website, Backyard Games USA explains the rules for cornhole for new players to get a better grasp of the game. The boards should be set opposite each other, with 27 feet between their two front edges. The game can accommodate teams of 2 or 4 players. In a 2-player game, the person who first throws the bag from the board's left side will walk directly to the other board and throw the next bag from its right side. If the game has 4 players, players of the same team will be throwing directly opposite each other.

Once the first player has been decided, players will take turns. When throwing, it is important to make sure one’s foot does not go past the front edge of the Cornhole board. If it does, that player should be pelted with the bags. Any bags that bounce off the ground and land on the board or are hanging from the board and touching the ground should be removed before the next bag is thrown. When all the 8 bags have been thrown, the points are tallied and the team or player with the most points gets to throw the first bag in the following round.

The scoring breakdown is as follows: any bag that goes through the hole scores three points and a bag that lands on the board scores one point. All points that are equal cancel each other. For instance, if one team has 6 points and the opponent has 4, the first team will go into the next round with 2. If both teams score the same, they will advance to the next round with 0 points. Any team that reaches 21 points with a 2 (or more) point lead, wins the game and the team that wins two games wins the match.

While there are official rules set out for the game (ratified by the American Cornhole association), Backyard Games USA explains that rules for home games are quite flexible — and players are allowed to choose their own rules since the game is all about having fun. Some people play the 21 points win where a team needs to get exactly 21 points to win. If the points exceed 21, they are reduced to 11, and they attempt the 21 again.
