Rashida Tlaib blasted over claim that US supported Taliban before it existed

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., was blasted for claiming Sunday that the U.S. supported the Taliban against Soviet forces occupying Afghanistan in the 1980s, a decade before the Islamist group came into existence.
