Education Dept. fails to explain protections against sex predators despite senators' demands, lawmakers say

Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona has failed to respond to a letter from senators Pat Toomey and Joe Manchin demanding answers to questions regarding the rehiring of educators who lost their jobs over sexual misconduct.
