Good morning…

My routine is absolutely boring right now in Coronado and I could not be happier.

I wake at 5 am and make my coffee, write, return email, feed Lindzee and take her for a morning walk/poop. Having a dog is a reminder that you are always working for someone:

My favorite office happens to be my home living and dining room at home. I think clearly here and always get my most work done at the kitchen table. It might be the light, the ability to work on the upstairs porch or the different sitting areas, but it works great…

Once or twice a week I meet LP’s, founders and/or friends for a coffee at Trident coffee on Orange (Coronado’s main street). The company was started by Eric Johnson a navy veteran/officer and his brother (I am a small angel investor). They now have two stores and the coffee was voted best in Coronado. The story is here. The Coronado store is awesome:

No matter what time I walk I will run into Phoenix friends ‘Zonies’ and stop to have a chat. Today it was Elaine Bernick and Marlene Lahr both awesome ladies and happy grandparents hosting the grandkids off an on all summer.

I love my routine.
