Scifi author, Catrina Taylor is launching her brand new serial, “Paragons”. The story is set to go live August 20th, 2022, available on Kindle Vella and is expected to become a big hit with fans of Sci-fi Young Adult Adventure stories.

Paragons sets its main focus on teens being mentored to learn alien technology. They will face obstacles only their mentors could have foreseen. Catrina Taylor is a veteran author with a passion for sharing stories that captivate and inspire. Being a single mother to teenagers with varied and uniquely creative gifts provided inspiration for the characters with in the pages of Paragons. Discussions and ideas are often cultivated with her community on Twitch, fueling some unexpected changes to the story along the way.
When asked about why they wrote the story, Taylor said: “I wrote the serial because the story infected me. It consumed my thoughts for days and weeks at a time, unraveling an adventure filled with lively characters and challenging situations.”
Taylor hopes the book will be as well received by readers as many of her books have been. One of the unexpected changes that surfaced during the creation of the first arc came after she realized the story could also be a ‘thank you’ for her community. She explained, “At one point I decided to rename several of the characters after people visiting my Twitch stream. That meant going back through each episode to update accordingly. Now, all of the character names and world development will keep my twitch community in mind as I write the story. Their involvement with the stream is inspirational. I hope this nod demonstrates my appreciation.”
In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking her beta readers for their part in the creation of the book, saying: “They did an amazing job getting back to me about each part they enjoyed, broke down what they didn’t, and drove me to continue in the world of these characters. Thank you for everything.”
