ERC 2023 Filing Deadline Report | Rebate Eligibility & Maximum Tax Credit Launch

A new ERC credit 2023 deadline report launched by ERCframe.com explores several options for business owners that still have not claimed their pandemic relief funds and steps that can be used to help maximize their tax rebates.

Ljubljana, Slovenia - August 7, 2023

This new report launched by ERCframe.com covers all the details required to determine if a company is eligible for Employee Retention Credits (ERC) in 2023, how to apply before the deadline, and how much it may be able to claim.

More information about the deadline for ERC claims, a no-cost eligibility assessment, and details about calculating the maximum allowable rebate can be found at https://ercframe.com/

Though the ERC program ended in 2021, and rebates are only available for wages paid throughout 2020 and 2021, employers can still complete their claims in 2023. The new report highlights several amendments to the program that affect individual deadlines, claims made by businesses with PPP loans, and the maximum allowable rebate.

While the eligibility requirements for ERC rebates have changed several times, the no-cost eligibility assessment on the ERC Frame website has been updated to reflect the most recent qualifications. This includes an expansion to the maximum allowable business size and allows employers with up to 500 W-2 employees on average to qualify.

The report also explores changes to the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and how they relate to ERC claims. Originally, employers that had received PPP loans were disqualified from the ERC program, but the report explains that these employers can now qualify for both programs.

Since the requirements are nearly identical, the report suggests that employers that qualified for PPP loans are also likely to qualify for ERC rebates. However, unlike the loans provided by the PPP, rebates claimed through ERCframe.com are not a loan or deferrals, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent. More information about application deadlines, and claiming ERC rebates with PPP loans can be found at https://ercframe.com/blog/2023-ERTC---Employee-Retention-Tax-Credit-Update-Do-Employers-Still-Have-Time-To-Apply/

Though individual rebates will vary based on several factors, the report explores the maximum allowable amounts, which may be up to $26,000 per employee. With no upper limit on funding, this has allowed some employers to claim upwards of $2 million in refundable tax credits from the IRS.

A spokesperson for ERCframe.com explained, "Your business does not have to be deemed essential to qualify for employee retention tax credit. If you own a small business, any small business, it’s worth applying with us."
