The newly announced festival will be taking place from the 27th to the 28th of November with dance workshops being held live on Facebook. Online participation is free for the international members of the audience.

Online attendees can expect to view Bollywood and commercial dance moves, Caribbean vibes including Salsa, Reggaeton, and the Bachata, as well as Merengue. Select workshops will be taking place in the studio, but they are limited to a maximum of 25 participants to adhere to social distancing restrictions.

House of Dance and the team explain the festival is the ideal opportunity for dance novices to gain insight. It also provides an opportunity for people who want to learn to dance to view different styles that they may be interested in.

For instance, the team explain Bachata is a rhythmic, romantic, and sensual dance that has slower movements when compared to the Merengue. The team add that there are many benefits to a dance such as the Bachata as it enables people to shape their waist, firm their buttocks and legs, as well as improving their coordination.

Additionally, it is the ideal dance for people who want a full-body workout as the Bachata works multiple muscle groups. It integrates the whole muscular system and allows the muscles in the body’s lower portion to be worked out. The torso and hip movements support spine flexibility while building strong muscles in the back.

A company spokesperson said: “Facebook live online participation is free to all, so our international audience can follow us from all over the world. The live workshop audience will get to spread the joy of dance by attending the workshops at the House of Dance studio.”
