On January 22, 2004, Sunoco, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing financial results for the Company’s 2003 fourth quarter and its 2004 capital spending plan. Additional information concerning the Company’s fourth quarter earnings and 2004 capital spending plan was presented to investors in a teleconference call on January 22, 2004.
