PRICES PUBLIC OFFERING OF COMMON STOCK
New York, NY February 25, 2014 Apollo Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: AINV) (the Company or Apollo Investment) announced today it has priced a public offering of 12.0 million shares of its common stock. The closing of the offering is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to take place on February 28, 2014. The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1.8 million shares of common stock. The offering of the shares is being made under the Companys shelf registration statement (as amended), which was filed with, and declared effective by, the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Apollo Investment expects to use the net proceeds of this offering to repay certain outstanding indebtedness owed under its Senior Secured Facility.
