Section 2 Financial Information
Item 2.03 Creation of a Direct Financial Obligation or an Obligation under an Off-Balance Sheet Arrangement of a Registrant
On July 13, 2018, Allegiant Travel Company (the “Company”), through a wholly owned subsidiary, drew down $46.9 million of the amount available under its previously disclosed senior secured revolving credit facility. The notes for the amounts borrowed under the facility bear interest at a floating rate based on LIBOR and are due on March 31, 2020. The proceeds from the borrowing will be used for general corporate purposes.
On July 19, 2018, the Company through a wholly owned subsidiary, also borrowed $34.5 million under another loan agreement secured by one Airbus A320 series aircraft. The note bears interest at a floating rate based on LIBOR and will be payable in quarterly installments through July 2028. The proceeds from the loan will be used for general corporate purposes.
