Other Events

Southwestern Energy Company announced on March 5, 2003 that its recent successful public offering of common stock raised net proceeds of approximately $89.8 million. Southwestern sold a total of 8,250,000 shares at a price of $11.50 per share and has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,237,500 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
