On September 12, 2005, the compensation committee of Seitel, Inc. ("Seitel") awarded a $101,724.53 (Canadian dollars) discretionary cash bonus to Garis Smith, president of Seitel's wholly-owned subsidiary, Olympic Seismic Ltd.
