Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 24, 2007, Marine Products Corporation issued a press release titled, “Marine Products Corporation Announces 20 Percent Increase in Quarterly Dividend and Plans to Announce Fourth Quarter and Annual 2006 Financial Results and Host a Conference Call on February 7, 2007.” The press release announced that the Board of Directors declared an increased quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share and also announced the date that Marine Products Corporation will release its Fourth Quarter and Annual 2006 financial results. This release also provided the related conference call information.
