Item 7.01 Other Events
On August 22, 2007, PartnerRe Ltd. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that Partner Reinsurance Europe Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PartnerRe Ltd., based in Dublin, will, from January 1, 2008, be the principal reinsurance carrier for PartnerRe’s business underwritten in France, Ireland, Switzerland and Canada.
A copy of the press release is furnished with this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
