On October 12, 2006, New Jersey Natural Gas (“NJNG”), a subsidiary of the Registrant, issued a press release announcing the approval by the Board of Public Utilities of a three-year pilot for NJNG’s Conservation Incentive Program. The press release is attached as an exhibit to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference .
