     On September 27, 2005, First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding: (i) the Company’s Annual Investor Day webcast, (ii) the Company’s earnings guidance for the balance of 2005 and for full year 2006 and (iii) certain other information.

     Attached and incorporated by reference as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the Company’s press release dated September 27, 2005 with respect to the foregoing information.

     On September 28, 2005, the Company will hold an investor webcast at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time, 8:00 a.m. Central time, to discuss the information contained in the attached press release.
