SGAI Hosts “GenAI Competition 2025” in Beijing

Event Showcases Global Leaders in Generative AI and Accelerates International Collaboration in Generative AI

Beijing, China - The International Society of GenAI (SGAI) announced the successful conclusion of its “GenAI Competition 2025,” held on October 25 at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). Building on the inaugural event in Los Angeles, the competition in Beijing strengthened the global generative AI ecosystem through innovation and expanded international cooperation.

This year’s competition featured two main categories: AI Models and AI Solutions. An esteemed panel of judges representing institutions such as MIT, Harvard, BUPT, and leading AI experts from Japan, Germany, Spain, and Australia selected the top three companies in each category. Nearly 100 generative AI companies were evaluated on rigorous and fair criteria.

In the AI Model category, MEDIQ STAR claimed first place for its AI-driven tuberculosis diagnostic model, which reduces the standard identification process from 30 days to just three through an AI-powered microscopy system. The system’s precision and efficiency have set new standards in international medical AI.

In the AI Solution category, AIME secured first place, with LEXPER and PERSONA AI taking second and third place, respectively.

“It was deeply meaningful to witness the rapid progress and capabilities of generative AI companies from around the world,” said an SGAI representative. “Leveraging the momentum from this event, we will further advance technological innovation and foster global collaboration to drive sustainable growth and create social value in generative AI.”

SGAI will continue to expand its advanced AI research tracks and reinforce responsible AI operation standards. The organization plans to accelerate innovation and collaboration by deepening partnerships with universities, research institutes, corporations, and governments around the globe.
