Fiduciary Trust International Welcomes Christina D’Elia as Trust Counsel in NYC Office

Experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney Possesses Wide-Ranging Expertise in Planning, Administration, and Risk Management

Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, announces that Christina C. D’Elia has joined the firm as trust counsel based in its New York office.

“Christina possesses in-depth expertise in trust and estate planning and administration, as well as corporate fiduciary practices and risk management—and this will be critical in helping us strengthen and grow our trust administration team,” said Leslie Gillin Bohner, chief fiduciary officer of Fiduciary Trust International. “Her experience and insights, and her track record for delivering comprehensive, personalized advice and solutions, will greatly benefit our clients and employees.”

Ms. D’Elia has nearly 20 years of experience. She joins Fiduciary Trust International from First Republic Trust Co., a division of First Republic Bank, where she was senior vice president and chief fiduciary officer. In this role, Ms. D’Elia was responsible for all fiduciary risk management efforts in nine states. Earlier in her career, she served as counsel and managing attorney at Morris & McVeigh LLP in New York, where she advised clients on comprehensive estate planning and tax-efficient transfer strategies. Ms. D’Elia started her career as a vice president and trust settlement officer at US Trust Co.

Ms. D’Elia is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She has served as an adjunct professor of law at Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she earned her juris doctor. Ms. D’Elia also graduated cum laude from Binghamton University with a bachelor-of-arts degree.
