Launched by Tyler, the new reservation site offers an enhanced user experience including photos and detailed, interactive maps, so visitors will know exactly what to expect when they arrive. Visitors can also stay updated on their reservation with text and email reminders or reach a call center for assistance.

The new reservation site has launched in time to plan spring break camping reservations ahead of time. Wyoming residents can book up to 120 days in advance for $4, and non-residents can book up to 113 days in advance of arrival for $8. Now through Feb. 15, annual day use passes are discounted to $42 for residents and $89 for non-residents.

Wyoming joins Florida and other leading tourism states that have selected Tyler’s recreation management software.

“Tyler has a proven track record with more than two decades of experience advancing technology for state parks. Their dedication to customer service excellence and continual improvement makes them an ideal partner,” said Stephanie Dillmon, concessions & revenue manager of Wyoming State Parks. “The new reservation site makes it simple to book and manage a reservation while our staff will save time because Tyler has enabled us to combine our previous two software systems into one combined platform.”

Sascha Ohler, senior vice president of outdoor recreation at Tyler added, “Wyoming is a state unlike any other with limitless outdoor recreation possibilities, a high volume of visitors, and a dedicated team who care deeply about the visitor experience. That’s why Wyoming has been recognized as one of the nation’s best park systems. We’re confident that park visitors will enjoy the new online experience and keep coming back.”

Wyoming was named as a finalist in the recent American Academy for National Recreation and Park Administration’s 2023 Gold Medal Award program.

Visitors can go to Reserve.Wyoming.gov to explore parks and book their stay.
