Emplifi Recognized By Atlassian For Exceptional Collaborative Work Management Strategies

The Atlassian “Work Differently, Together” award recognizes organizations that embrace diversity of thought and challenge the old ways of working

Emplifi, a leading customer engagement platform, today announced it is the 2024 recipient of Atlassian’s ‘Work Differently, Together’ award. Based on the concept that embracing diversity of thought and challenging the old ways of working is the new competitive edge, the award recognizes organizations that have a unique work management story centered on successful collaborative processes, effective use of Atlassian’s Team Playbook tactics, or meaningful communications with business stakeholders.

“Atlassian’s solutions are key to our team’s success. Utilizing close integration of Confluence and Jira allows us to streamline life-cycle management, react to customer feedback, and deliver new product features, including their documentation, quickly and with as little friction as possible,” said Kris Klima, Director of Technical Content, Emplifi. “It is especially rewarding to be recognized by Atlassian for our collaborative nature when it comes to work management processes that involve product, engineering, and documentation. This award not only shines a light on our team’s efforts, it underscores just how innovative workflows within the Atlassian ecosystem benefit the product and, by definition, our customers.”

After surveying 100 Fortune 500 executives and 100 Fortune 1000 executives in September, 2023, Atlassian revealed that 100% of the respondents reported their teams work in a distributed way and that 99% agree work will only become more distributed in the future. With more than 700 team members, Emplifi has benefited from a highly diverse, distributed workforce spanning across five continents—all committed to the same mission of helping global brands better connect and engage with customers by bridging the gap between their marketing, commerce, and customer care strategies. The company uses Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence platforms to implement workflow processes that are crucial to Emplifi’s highly collaborative approach to work.

“The award is all about teamwork and accomplishing things together that would be impossible alone,” said Alex Sakaguchi, Head of Solutions Marketing, Work Management, Atlassian. “To be chosen for the ‘Work Differently, Together’ award, this team had to show how they embrace new ways of working with pace and collaboration and embracing the diversity of thought.”

As part of Atlassian’s annual user conference Team '24, the “Work Differently, Together” award is one of six client awards. Atlassian clients can nominate their teams for one or more of the multiple award categories and nominations are evaluated within Atlassian. Finalists are determined by the Atlassian teams closest to each category.

“Emplifi takes a collaborative approach to all of our work management processes, it’s critical to our customers’ success and the only way we are able to deliver a unified experience across social, commerce, and customer care for our clients,” said Ian Burk, Chief Operating Officer, Emplifi. “It’s integral to our business that we have effective platforms like Atlassian in place to enable our most important outcomes. It’s an honor to be recognized by these platforms for getting it right when it comes to collaboration. We couldn’t be more thrilled that Atlassian has selected Emplifi as a leader when it comes to innovative work processes centered on teamwork that benefits customers.”
