Sarah James Jazz Merch has recently expanded their collection of cozy, versatile T-shirts displaying unique New York City art images with “We Rise By Lifting Others - Elephant”. The centerpiece of the shirt is an image of a street mural depicting the Hindu deity Ganesh in the form of a pink elephant and the message “Rise by lifting others.”

The collection’s newest addition is manufactured by Gildan and is available in six different colors - white, black, red, blue, purple, and green. Each article is fashioned out of pre-shrunk, heavy cotton for a soft touch on the skin, and its shoulder-to-shoulder taping makes for an accommodating fit. Sizes range from small to 3XL.
Sarah James captured the T-shirt’s image in the early spring of 2023 on a building wall on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, on the corner of 6th Street and 1st Avenue. Since then, the image has been painted over many times, but its vibrant colors, uplifting message, and artistry have been preserved on the new T-shirts.
