Having already produced two successful Fridays this year, Bandcamp has pre-announced six more dates including April 5th, the 40th Bandcamp Friday on May 3rd, September 6th, October 4th and December 6th.
Bandcamp Fridays began in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic with the aim to assist artists when venues were shut down, resulting in the loss of vital tour revenue. On Bandcamp Fridays, Bandcamp waves their revenue share and gives 100% funds to the artists and labels - which has resulted in millions of fans paying over $120 million directly to labels and musicians they love.
