Dr. Kelley Bohm brings expertise as a Cornea Specialist and Cataract Surgeon to Buffalo Ophthalmology. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Bohm is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College before completing an internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Bohm furthered her expertise with a cornea clinical research fellowship at Weill Cornell and a cornea and external disease fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University, where she worked on the development of cutting-edge surgical techniques. Her work has won awards such as the ASCRS Foundation Resident Excellence Award and the Edward Norton Prize in Ophthalmology. With a strong foundation in clinical research and patient care, Dr. Bohm is dedicated to advancing eye health and improving outcomes for patients with complex corneal conditions.
Dr. Taylor Fronczak earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Daemen University, and graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. During her doctoral studies, she served as a tutor in biomedical sciences, ocular disease, and anatomy, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and education.
Dr. Fronczak completed a residency in ocular disease and primary eye care at the Erie Veterans Administration Medical Center in Erie, Pa., where she gained extensive experience in managing conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, and diabetic retinopathy. Her clinical training also includes externships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Batavia, N.Y., the Hollywood Eye Institute in Cooper City, Fla., and COSSMA clinics in Puerto Rico. Dr. Fronczak is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
