Angela Hogle Conquers Her Adversities in Inspirational Memoir Entitled “Cracking Through My Egg Shell: A Memoir”

By: WebWire

Angela Hogle describes her unimaginable journey to being a parent in her memoir entitled “Cracking Through My Egg Shell: A Memoir.” Angela was born with a disease called Turner Syndrome, which, due to a lack of an X-chromosome, causes severe medical and developmental issues in women. Turner syndrome causes infertility and stunted growth, among many others.

“Cracking Through My Egg Shell: A Memoir” tells her story, a mother with Turner's syndrome, and the unimaginable and difficult times she went through from conception to childbirth. She talks about her struggles and presents a unique comparison to the many trials of life.

Also in the book, she shares one of the trials in life that God put her through and all the wonderful lessons that God has taught her. She was a city girl that was able to turn her adversary into a miracle.

As Angela grew older, she had to deal with the long-term effects of the disease and referred to it as “God testing her faith.” She begged the question: “Have there been times in your life where your faith in God has ever been tested? How did you cope with it?”

ReadersMagnet displayed this book during the 2022 ALA Conference and Exhibition that was held last June 24-27, 2022, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington D.C.
