HP tried to protect bosses after ‘botched’ $11B acquisition of Autonomy, lawyers claim

Hewlett-Packard botched its $11.1 billion acquisition of British tech giant Autonomy, and later tried to blame it on Autonomy CEO Mike Lynch to protect its own executives, Lynch’s lawyers argued in court in London this week.
