Actuated Medical Offers Employees Paid Time Off for Second Covid-19 Vaccination

BELLEFONTE, Pa. - March 15, 2021 - PRLog -- Maureen L. Mulvihill, PhD, president and CEO of Actuated Medical, Inc., recently announced the company's decision to offer employees paid time off equivalent to one day of work for all employees who receive their second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. AMI team members will not have to worry about coming into work if they are not feeling well after their second Covid-19 vaccine.

"Getting the community vaccinated quickly is the fastest way to get back to normal.  Therefore, we are striving to get as many of our employees vaccinated as possible. It is important that our employees feel supported and safe during this process," Dr. Mulvihill relayed to team members.

Actuated Medical employs 22 full time team members, and 18% have begun their vaccine process. Actuated Medical is dedicated to following the guidelines set in place by Governor Tom Wolf and the Covid-19 Taskforce. For many Pennsylvanians, deciding on whether to get the Covid-19 vaccine may depend on where they work. It is important to Mulvihill that her employees understand the significant value of receiving the vaccine and have all the possible support in doing so.
