US stocks trending higher hours before Friday's opening bell

U.S. equity futures were trading higher early Friday morning as money managers say there is uncertainty surrounding the future pace of the U.S. economic recovery, especially with the continuing threat of rising Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations in many states.
