My name is Kristine Afram. I am a Lebanese-Swedish 33-year old blogger and Instagram influencer. I started my journey as an influencer 12 years ago out of my interest and passion in beauty, fashion, and photography.
2) Was being a fashion and beauty blogger a dream or a career you sought for?
Indeed, my passion and love to photography has played a very intrinsic role in the position I behold today. I have always been excited in taking everyday photos and sharing them with my followers from all over the world who were interested in my content, as well as many local and foreign brands. When I saw this huge and interesting interaction, I was actually fascinated where I decided to continue and develop my content.
3) What brands and shops have you collaborated with throughout your journey?
I have collaborated with different hotels, restaurants, fashion designers, makeup brands, and many other well-known brands including Hia Magazine, Tia Furniture, Miuumiuu clothes, Just Angel, La Damien Jewelery and many more.
4) what’s the most rewarding thing about being a blogger?
The most rewarding thing is the relationships (and even friendships) you build through blogging. I have such an amazing connection with my followers and feel like they just GET me, and I get them! I have made some amazing friends and have found ‘my people’ through being online. This huge number on my following list, isn’t only a number, it means much more to me, it’s my family list. They are the place where I return to in order to gain power and keep going on.
5) Do you have any advice for those wanting to start their own blog?
If you are starting your own blog, the best advice I can give is to just be you. Don’t be a copy of anyone, be your own version, have your own style with your full self-confidence. Your people will find you and love you for that! Don’t try and be anything you aren’t and be proud of who you are and for what you are doing!
