Tufts report urges lawmakers to resolve gig driver ballot question

The report also offers suggestions as to what lawmakers could do, including setting guaranteed pay for drivers at a level higher than 120% of the minimum wage; adjusting the thresholds for health care stipends; requiring companies to pay Social Security and Medicare taxes on behalf of gig workers.
