At the same time, Burt Young who played Stallones' brother Rocky, has a comedy Tomorrow's Today just out on Plex, AppleTv, Prime Video and more, in which Young delivers an award winning cameo for best supporting actor at the Marina Del Rey Film Festival. In Young's new movie, he plays Luca, an Astoria sage who guides the character Charlie at a key point of need.

Young is eternally cherished for his role as Paulie Pennino in 6 of the 7 Rocky movies, opposite Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, and Burgess Meredith. Young received an Oscar nomination for his performance in the first film, and went on to star in classics like The Pope of Greenwich Village and Once Upon a Time in America.

Young's first love was theater. He was trained by Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio. Off-Broadway, Young appeared at the Public Theater in the drama Cuba and His Teddy Bear, a show that also gave him his Broadway debut in 1986, opposite Robert De Niro and Ralph Macchio.
