Europe's demand for rare earth is expected to continue to increase due to the rising applications in magnets, metallurgy, catalysts, glass, and ceramics. The automotive industry is the major end-user of rare earth in Europe. Europe emerged as the second-largest producer of motor vehicles in the world and accounted for a share of 22.3% in recent years. This is anticipated to propel the demand for rare earth in the region.
