Sen. Elizabeth Warren: Current FDIC staffing shortages 'threaten the safety and soundness of the banking system'

In a letter sent to Inspector General Jennifer Fain, Sen. Elizabeth Warren said the FDIC should evaluate whether the decision to rescind more than 200 job offers to bank examiners threatens the stability of the banking system.
