Associated Banc-Corp (NASDAQ: ASBC) announced today that Bernard R. Shaw has joined Associated as Senior Vice President, Manager of Correspondent Services. He brings more than 35 years of banking and financial experience to the position. Shaw will be based in Milwaukee.
"Bernie brings a wealth of experience to Associated," said Peter Thursby, Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking. "He is charged with expanding the reach of our correspondent services, with a primary focus on providing credit and processing services for our clients."
Previously, Shaw held the position of Vice President of Correspondent Banking for LaSalle Bank in Milwaukee, where he was responsible for overseeing correspondent banking in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Other experience includes 18 years with Freddie Mac in a number of sales and credit management roles. Shaw holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Marquette University, Milwaukee.
Shaw and his team of corporate bankers, who are located across Associated's business footprint, work with small to medium-size financial institutions, providing check clearing, vault services, treasury management, international banking services, training programs, leasing services, insurance, and retirement planning solutions.
